So glad I stumbled into this thread… those colors are amazing. I'm quickly becoming a die-hard IH fan... how long till my closet is only IH, it's hard to say. Probably soon if Haraki keeps getting rad like this.

I vote for fading characteristics, and the 666 cut with a lower rise (or not)

The Samurai Elements were nowhere near that obviously colored.  In fact, I found them bit underwhelming.  Which was sad, as I had high hopes for my pair.

An alternative, super high quality, is the Pure Blue Japan Purple face model. It fades and revelas the denim colors after a while
They make it in 14and 24 oz. great stuff

This seems like an odd direction for IH, a little too "fashionista" for me. Having said that, I saw some old guy several years ago wearing green Levi's, and it made me wonder whether a super dark green pair of IH's (dark like the sexihxlsxa13's, only green) would look like, especially with some fades. I might be down with something like that.

Echoing what others said, this looks like a 15oz (or less) TW product to me… Perfect to wear in the summer while riding a banana bike.

Of course, the hard part on this forum is imaging the mind of a Japanese consumer.
