The sulphur pigment overdye process we all know and love, can it be done at home in some way? I have plans…

Forgive me if this question has been asked elsewhere: Why are the labels on the IHSH111, IHSH112 and IHSH113 different than the usual IH labels (ironed on vs. fabric)?

Can't wait for the herringbone work pants!

hardly any retailers want to stock 35's
I've always found that weird. On the one hand you rarely see 35 tagsize, on the other hand when someone does go the extra mile and make something in 35 they always seem to be sold out. Also I hear all the time that guys want 35 tagsize. I guess it's fear of stock just sitting there. If you sell the 35's maybe you don't sell the 36's…

I checked many of IH's latest Releases and thought often, that a 35 would be the ideal size for me. I know that most brands don't do them, but always wondered, why it had to be between 34 and 36 to split sizes while going down to small sizes without that difference. Is it just common practice or is there a good / historical reason for it?

I know exactly what you mean. And that's a good questions. Because on the face if it, it just seems like big guy prejudice [emoji1]

Same for me. 34 is often either too slim in the thigh or the top block is too small, even if the waist is ok ish. 36 is usually ok, but the top block is a bit big and I am relying on a belt.

^It's likely that the difference between 1 inch at 34-36 is less of an impact than 1 inch @ 30-34.
That's occurred to me in the past and you may well be right. On the other hand I'm not sure I buy it. What about shoes and tops/shirts? They don't drop sizes at the big end of the curve there. Either way it's a pain in the ring when you're trying to fit good denim properly…
Also @Snowy can I suggest moving this to Random Questions in case others feel the need to chip in? I'm aware it's moving off topic.

I don't know. H released IH-634S in 35 a few years ago. No western retailers took them, and take up was so slack in Japan, he did not make them again…..Well, until I asked, but even then, he does not stock any himself..
You made the last run of SBG BB's in a 35" as well. I picked a pair up from R&H and they are the perfect fit.

Regarding the tops/shirts, this is one of the great things about IH for me, in that there is a good spread of sizes around the L/XL/XXL/XXL range with not too much of a gap in physical size between them. That and the good sizing charts (measurements) mean getting or choosing the fit you want is better than with a lot of other brands for me.

^Agreed. It's great to be able to fit things well with IH level of detail and sizing in shirts. And that's exactly what I would love to have with jeans. Half an inch in the shoulder or chest, an inch in length, all make all the difference. And so does half an inch in the thigh or an inch in the waist.
For me, the 12.3 thigh on the tagged 34 666-XHS is prohibitively small, while 13.0 on the 36 is risking too much room and a fit I'm unhappy with. The measurements for the 35 are perfect. So that jump does mean we bigger guys get less opportunity for fine-tuning the fit that those going from 28-34….
To be clear, not a gripe at IH, but a point about industry standards.
