Kudu stitchdown is killer. If I could fit in a 2030, I would try to get a pair. Wide feet and Viberg don't mix. I doubt kudu will ever appear in a 110 or 2040…

After a year of wear, got around to treating these. Really happy with how it turned out, it's almost like I got a new pair of boots.
I liked the original roughout look, but really like how they look now. Excited to see how they evolve from here.
Bottom pic is the the stock photo from Viberg as I never took an original pic of these boots.

Thanks @Seul and @Dishelveled
They're made with a 'nude' or untreated leather that will pick up lots of patina and darken with wear.

Very cool score. You're gonna love the Bison. I'll provide more detail when not responding from phone. At least my $0.02.
They black or chocolate?

@mikebarhoot Thank you very much. I would welcome any and all feedback on this leather as I have no experience, but love the viberg 310s.
the seller said these are a very dark brown (chocolate I guess). In my research of Viberg bison boots, I found that they start out black or almost black and then fad to a dark brown.
Looking forward to your comments!

@Dstauffer I have the Viberg Hikers in Bison. Mine are a much lighter shade of brown but as far as the leather goes I love it. It feels more supple to me than steerhide. The size of the grain is also a really nice change from cow or horse as well. It could have just been my pair but there is a distinct difference in smell between the bison and my other boots. The few shots I have seen of darker dyed bison boots do appear to hold their color fairly well and the fading is nice and subtle. Definitely a good boot to have in rotation.

I have some Pictures with some wear, not the current state but the best I can do right now:
The black wax gives way to pretty light Brown, which Looks good somehow, but then also makes the shoes look untidy. That's why I treated them with some Mustang Paste from time to time to keep them darker.

^ @Max Power Very good, thanks!
