I like Joshua, he has fantastic power and he can take a punch. If he keeps developing he is going to be champion.
Eubanks and Benn were both great, young Eubank looks like he could be the real deal, and Benn is developing well too.
I was always a massive Lennox Lewis fan, I think history will remember him more kindly than people did at the time he fought. He never ducked anyone, always came back from defeats and held all the major belts for the best part of ten years. Fantastic boxer.

Don't get me wrong, Joshua's by far the best heavyweight prospect since Lewis imho. Just don't care for him much. Too earnest. Trying to be a model for the kids. Fuck that. Be yourself mate.
Just prefer Fury, makes me smile. Seems honest and aware. Hope he knocks Klitschko out this time.
Don't think he will mind. He doesn't want it enough. -
Anyone here watching Canelo Vs GGG tonight?
I had some money on it but didn't end up watching it

Despite the controversial decision it was a great fight. Both of them have strong chins and exchanged great hits the entire fight. I can't wait to watch it again.
Yeah from what I understand that should have been a clear win by decision for GGG?

Very hard to say. Canelo's defense and movement was phenomenal. He won 5-6 rounds (I think). Then again I'm bias with that. The one lopsided score card was not representative of what I saw the though and shouldn't have been so favored for Canelo.
GGG was the main aggressor for most rounds though. I can't believe Canelo took some of the shots he did and didn't get hurt. It was truly a hard fight to score.

Well this is how his promoter advertised him. (Canelo)
He didn't fight like that. I saw GGG game for a phonebooth fight. Canelo wasn't having it. Need score cards revealed after every round in live time or have a true prize fight or close to one at least. Have purse tied to the win lose or draw.
But it wasn't a bad fight, just not the one i was expecting. At least with May vs. Pac i knew the product Mayweather was bringing to the table.

Canelo won 3 rounds, GGG won 9 rounds.

Great analysis lol [emoji23] 6-6, 7-5 at most either way.

Oh come on….you're serious?! Your real name isn't Adelaide Byrd is it??? ;). This was clearly GGG's win.
We will just have to agree to disagree in this one.

No matter how botched the score, it was a phenomenal display of boxing acumen and a truly enjoyable experience watching two master practice their craft.
I do feel like GGG looked a little jittery and stunned by Canelo's power in the first few rounds, gaining confidence, comfort, and aggression as the rounds continued.

I can easily see 7-5 GGG.
But Canelo landed more power punches and had better defense the entire fight.

Another routine win for Fury. I hope he stays out of retirement to unify the heavyweight division. He’s head and shoulders (literally too) above everyone else right now.

Why is Inoue fighting on a Tuesday?

Fury v Usyk, definitely looking forward to it but leave it up to boxing to give the fans something a few years too late

I've been watching some recaps of the fight and I'm now really angry that we didn't get to see a real fight. The Tyson i saw in the sparring videos is not the same one I saw on Friday. He was obviously pulling punches and seemed to be only making contact by accident. I get it, it's entertainment but I really still think he would have knocked Jake Paul out in 1 round if they had let him. Those sparring videos are brutal.

Makes me want to see the sparring videos.
I've been interested in this as a media event. It's got all sorts of interesting stuff going on: celebrity, competition vs scripted, nostalgia and futurity, gender and morality, and of course, capital and the circulation of lots of money. I'm sure some bored academic will write a book about it.
