Great music @adam313
Today I found this CD in one of my daughters room.
Knowing that a small part of my Cd’s are sneaking away at the moment… asked her ‘Why it is with you?’
“Liked the faces!” was her answer.
“And why do YOU have this?”
...
After a long silence wit no real answer in mind, I told her that ‘I’ve seen a concert in their mid 80’s by accident.
From there on I liked the music and one of their drummers called Paul.’ And in my mind: ‚Always disliked their behavior. But nowadays this doesn’t bother me at all!’“Ahh, the cat!”
Should I show her this ???

…hey @dinobarnesberlin! Have recently become a huge fan of Charlie Crockett! His stuff just grows on you man! Can't stop singing 'Hard Times'!

A bit of a different vibe… sharing this song as I’m feeling good today. Had a positive appointment at hospital, will be having COVID vaccine next week, and presented a talk on running and theatre at an online conference and got positive responses.
So then this tune: Playboi Carti’s last album ‘Die Lit’ was really good and such a surprise in its originality, and although this new one ‘Whole Lotta Red’ took longer to get used to, probably because of all the crunchiness, I am now convinced and keep coming back to it. The ad libs in this track and the space in the production is strong, not to mention the typically amazing precise use of repetition in the verses if they can even be called that. One to be played loud.

Right on @vaquero357 . yea man, been getting into his whole look/vibe lately. Its funny with him.
He doesn't have the greatest singing voice, and his guitar playing is just ok…but he sure makes up for it in his sincerity:)
Would see him in a minute if this Covid crap ever goes away. -

William Elliott Whitmore - Diggin my grave
one of my all-time favourites
Love this dude! Great shout in posting this.
Saw him a couple of times in London in the mid 00's. Would always pull out a couple bottles of JD and let the crowd pass them around. Not the most sanitary but still.
He played a set at Frith Street Tattoo (tiny basement in Soho) which I couldn't make, I remember there being footage of it out there but can't seem to find it now.
Thinking about WEW has made me go down the rabbit hoe of David Eugene Edwards / 16 Horsepower / Wovenhand again now
