William Elliott Whitmore - Diggin my grave
one of my all-time favourites
Love this dude! Great shout in posting this.
Saw him a couple of times in London in the mid 00's. Would always pull out a couple bottles of JD and let the crowd pass them around. Not the most sanitary but still.
He played a set at Frith Street Tattoo (tiny basement in Soho) which I couldn't make, I remember there being footage of it out there but can't seem to find it now.
Thinking about WEW has made me go down the rabbit hoe of David Eugene Edwards / 16 Horsepower / Wovenhand again now

These days I can't get enough Inepsy. @ about 2:30 there's an awesome Hellhammer/ Celtic Frost style breakdown in this one that gives me chills every time.

@goosehd that woman sure is gorgeous. I like the screaming parts but the regular singing parts are a little too much for me.
This band is long broken up, but their singer was pretty awesome (like above).
She did a side project that sounds like early 90s Metallica with a female singer too.

@Filthy love the atmospheric nature of the doom
@goosehd wow her vocals are dynamic and well rounded - I especially like the Gospel of the Witches song @Filthy shared that shit is wild when they harmonize vocally.
Here is the band I bring up when on topic of strong female vocals:
Dark Castle from Florida
