Looking good, Alex.
I gave mine another wash to see if I could get a little more shrinkage out of it. Tightened up a bit more and wore it this weekend. Will get a lot more wear with the temps starting to drop.

It really is…mine is craving a wash but I'm trying to hold out as long as possible!
It’s such a good shirt!! I just washed mine. It went pretty good, I was worried about marbling… but I think I managed to avoid it!!

Yeah, machine washed it on gentle. Worked like a charm.

Did you machine wash it? I was wondering about marbling too but I'm also not sure if it bothers me.
@Oaktavia if you want to avoid marbling, soak your shirt before you throw it in the wash. worked for me.

I gave mine a cold soak in the bathtub, then put it in the washing machine on a 30C gentle cycle. No issues at all. And this denim air dries nice and crispy [emoji106][emoji106]

Nice going @Oaktavia those honeycombs are looking sharp! Is your shirt still dry? Also, kinda surprised how well the IB tux works.

Shirt has one tub soak with detergent cold water no agitation. And of course the IB tux kills my dude.

How does this compare to the IHSH-33? I know that this is IB and 2 oz heavier but what are the essential differences (if any)?
-
@Crispy Heron i don’t own this shirt but do own the 33. Looking at @Oaktavia ’s awesome shots, I’d hazard a guess that this is much more rigid than the 33, in addition to the obvious differences of being heavier and indigo black. For example, these are the elbow creases of my 33 (ignore junk in background lol):
Due to the softness of the 33 denim, it doesn’t seem to be a high contrast fader. The effect will probably be a bit more vintage and subdued than with this shirt.
-
@Crispy Heron I don’t know this for sure, but I would think that the IHSH-295-IB are cut from the same pattern as the 33s. Maybe someone can confirm this,as it’s never been officially said, and they’re not called 33/IB.

All helpful - thanks. I too own the IHSH-33 and find that it is quite stubborn when it comes to fading. I was hoping that the 295-IB may be better in that regard?
