Thank you @twin!
I always wonder how many people understand the Bums_Fan reference. You most certainly did.
You know it should still be NY. Giants at the Polo Grounds Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field.
. My Grandfather was a Giants fan,so he would take me to the Polo Grounds when the Giants would play the Mets. @Bums_Fan Are you originally from Brooklyn?

It's really a killer shirt — I feel like this one should go continuous production, if ya ask me
Never mind, I just checked and it already is, haha…

@Jett129 It would have been great to be able to be inside the Polo Grounds. From pics it was a great ball park. How did you like being there?

Dad grew up with Duke Snider as a hero, pulling for the Bums. His fandom crossed the continent with them, so I have always had a spot in my heart for them, even if I am a Cubs fan first and foremost. 1988 World Series was my second major sports memory (1985 Bears being the first) and I think I still have a commemorative hat somewhere from it. There was nothing like watching Orel Hershiser pitch that postseason. I was very pleased they managed to finally break through again, and I am so pleased Vin Scully lived long enough to see it.

@mclaincausey Did see the Cubs at Wrigley Field one time. But the best was BlackHawk hockey at Chicago Stadium. Will NOT set foot inside United Center.

@Jett129 I was born and raised in Southern California, but my dad is originally from Brooklyn. He turned me into a Dodgers fan at an early age. My parents divorced when I was 5. I mention this because I remember visitation weekends with my dad almost always involved taking in a Dodger game when it was baseball season and they were at home. He had season tickets (great seats btw and spoiled me for life) for all his SoCal years until he relocated to the state of Washington recently.

@mclaincausey It is not the same anymore. First BlackHawks still should be at the stadium. Second sports went by the way of wrestling, more Entertaiment then competition. Harvey Wittenburg did not scream and yell over the PA system, like they do now.
-
@twin I was 9-10 years old when The Mets were playing at the Polo grounds, and I can’t really say I have vivid memories. It was a really big deal at that age to get to go to a baseball game. Also, funny you should say that sports has gone the way of Professional Wrestling as I sometimes think that the referees in the NFL had jobs in the WWE before coming to football.

I grabbed one of these from Rivet & Hide during their sale. DHL took it on the scenic route, but I got a chance to wear it yesterday. My wrists were tinted blue after a couple hours. The grey stitching is a nice detail that I didn't fully appreciate until I was wearing it. Now I want some jeans in this denim, ha ha!

Love all the action in this thread. @Oaktavia your shirt looks amazing and echo your sentiments about the grey stitching. Provides just the right amount of contrast.
I went with pearl snaps on mine. Change it up from the black snaps on my 33 indigo and black.

Looks great! I pimped my IHSH-326-IND with the pearl snaps and love them. I'm waiting for the restock of the 295-IB and will likely upgrade to copper snaps like the CPOs.

Copper will look great on this one, especially with the grey stitching
