Decided to try a pair of Todd Snyder joggers. The cuff takes some getting used to when it’s not a sweatpants fabric, but they are growing on me as a summer pant. The cool feature include a really soft hand with the Italian cotton, double knee fabric, fatigue style front and back pockets, and dual button front closure with hidden string to tie them up in lieu of a belt. All this for under $90.

Thanks @Matt Keen Uneek. The tagline on them is 'two cords and a sole'. Saw them for the first time several years ago at Garbstore in London and got a pair last spring. They're lightweight but the fit is secure and the sole is sturdy. I like how the shape and construction almost resembles a moccasin. These are a minimal colourway compared to some of the other options out there. I'll likely get another pair when these wear out.
