@goosehd haha, yeah! Teddy boy is a star!

@Graeme i don’t know how people foster dogs. I could never have a dog that wasn’t actually part of my family permanently. Kudos to you. My step bro adopts greyhounds, one at a time as they dont live that long after adoption. I think that have about an 10 yr span. All they ever did was lay around… until you accidentally drop their leash.

@Matt the Victorian Greyhound Adoption Programme, which is a gesture of corporate responsibility by the racing industry, put out a request for foster homes over Christmas, and I thought that it would be fun. I'm currently between jobs, so I've got the time to look after a dog, but I'm planning on moving in a month or two, so it's not necessarily a great time to get one on a permanent basis.
(Although when Bloomberg and the BBC are framing the Australian housing market as a cautionary tale, finding a new place might take some time.)
Fergus is a sweet boy, but he's also suffering from pretty severe anxiety. He rarely spends time inside, preferring to hide in a den at the bottom of the garden for much of the day, although he came in this afternoon because it was better than staying outside in a massive thunderstorm.
He's also got a habit of stealing things and running off with them, which led to a conversation with the tax office earlier today, "Sorry if I'm a bit distracted, but my Greyhound just stole a jury summons letter from my desk."
I'll be sending that dog to prison at this rate...

@Mizmazzle Sounds about right. Whenever we stay at my girlfriends (where she is 95% of the time), she is pretty calm. Whenever I look after her at mine, all hell breaks loose

@Luijim78 Nice.

Looks great @Oaktavia. We are a bit south on the other side of the river. 36 and raining all day. Dogs didn’t want to go out and managed to sleep most of the day.
