@Oaktavia awesome, I think Iโm going to be holding off on buying anything until the meetup but maybe that weekend

21oz OD vs 14 OZ BB

My 666 25oz -- awaiting their return from Rain next week. They needed $280 of work, I was told -- !! Here they are at 150 wears, one wash.
-
@indigostiff $280 worth of repair costs?! What exactly is being fixed up?
-
19oz Lefty
16oz Slubby T2 -
@T4920 The circled stuff - plus a hem.
-
@indigostiff thatโs crazy I wouldnโt even bother โฆ
But each to there own .. -
@Oaktavia Your photography reminded me of a guy who was pretty active on the Forum about 10 years ago. His username was nizzel55 and I think he may have won an early fading contest. Had to screenshot this old post.
-
@Oaktavia that's a truly great evo bud, keep it going
-
@Jcaz6996 150 wears just feels different though. They're like a damned child of mine at this point! Let's see how she returns them - I'm expecting spectacular.
-
@indigostiff Im sure they will be she is definitely the best at what she does โฆ
I like the look of rough and tough look of denim with the odd battle scars , holes here and there ..Iโm just going to wear the crap out of mine got a big hole under the left rear pocket now over 1โ in length..
-
@Jett129 wow his fades are sick!!! And I can see why his photos came to mind. I remember seeing them years ago when I first joined. Thanks for reminding me, I'm going to check out more.

Here are some pretty special ones for me. I bought these Iron Heart 633s-142 from Self Edge SF a few years back after hearing about Iron Heart on Dean Del Rey's Let There Be Talk in his interview with Giles. Wore these just about everyday for 3-4 years. Tons of washes, 2 repairs, speckled with some paint. They were definitely a size small, but I stretched the heck out of them. Now I wear the 888 which is quite a bit better for my body shape, but will always love these baddies.
-
That has got to be one of the best if not the best 14oz IH denim fades I've seen so far...
-
@cityofdelusion Oh heck ya, thanks! Love these things, they feel like some sort of trophy
-
@TENDREL wow I wasn't interested in 14oz bottoms until now. Holy shit! Yours look amazing and I love the blue arcs.
-
Yup, those are HOF worthy. So awesome.
-
Damn, for real! Holy shit.
-
Also: every time I see tonal arcs, Iโm like WHY NOT MORE TONAL ARCS?
