@flannel-slut I have drawn circles around the areas that will be fixed by sizing down and makes the jacket look too big on you. The back picture is really bad as you can see how much extra material there is and also gives you excess material in the front chest area.

yup, exactly @goosehd . Also can see the extra material bunching up above the two chest pockets. Assuming the medium can zip up over your hips/waist, I think you'll be much happier.
