I know it’s a little early, but I’m just curious what y’all have been putting together for your holiday wants this year? What are planning on getting for your loved ones? What are your kids hoping for?

I don’t really need anything these days that I can’t get myself, but I’m really just looking for a Goruck GR1 21L, IHE-19 bag, maybe a Stetson Stratoliner is moss or natural, and a down packable camping blanket.

My older son (8) wants a Nintendo Switch. I never had video games growing up, so I don’t think he needs it. My younger son (3.5) would be happy with anything.

Yeah @chrisjohnnick I had a period where I was addicted to video games in my youth. I still have regrets about prioritizing them over loved ones; hurting a parent’s feelings by choosing Mortal Kombat in the arcade over spending time with them for example.

My wife would have zero patience if I spent a lot of time playing them today, and that time doesn’t exist anyway.

I’ll be very careful about introducing them to my kid, and my wife would be even more resistant to the notion.
