@Wlemon shared this link with me that outlines a method to tan and condition natural
horsehideleather. I found it a nice read and really dig the results in the photos shown. I'm going to condition my Extractor after I tan it over this summer.http://vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com/2021/12/the-randall-jacket-by-mister-freedom.html

Do you have a shop where to buy the Pecard antique leather conditioner?Oh weird I thought that MF jacket was the same or similar horsehide. I think the the SB/IH leather is nicer…and I do not think there is anywhere local for Pecard stuff but there is a website https://pecard.com/

Thanks for sharing, it was very interesting, the result is amazing if you are looking for a very uniform golden caramel patina, i will just wear mine with no conditioner, no sun bath, no matter what the weather is, sunny or not, cloudy or not, rainy or not and see what happens.

if someone is looking for size M and L
Bad Weather Cafe in Malmö Sweden have both on stock. -
@Oaktavia I've used his method on horsehide, too. I have this jacket from S & S, which is also made by Simmons Bilt using the same (presumably) leather as your jacket and this jacket. (LINK:https://standardandstrange.com/collections/simmons-bilt/products/s-s-x-simmons-bilt-vanishing-point-horsehide-leather-jacket). I've had some good results, but, with the Los Angeles sun, I have to be careful to not "over tan." I've found that taking it slow is the way to go. Here's a pic of me wearing it on my 40th last week.
