IHSH-362-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Superblack (Fades to Grey)

@Oaktavia
Same wearing the western version and I simply love it. I’ll pass on the cpo this time around. Especially after getting a new shirt and sweat pants! -
@Pipeboss713 Hell yeah dude. I was eyeing those sweatpants down but convinced myself I only need denim! haha...
-
Got mine in! Been looking forward to this guy for way too long!
-
Very nice! I have the indigo overdye CPO (which is fantastic), and the black moleskin CPO, so I'll probably sit this one out. Or maybe not...
-
keep telling me that I don’t need another CPO
but….. -
Dude I’m super psyched for this one to get in. Ordered my usual XL even though the measurements are bigger, so I can use it as my daily outer layer. This is going to get a LOT of use.

Fuck yeah dude
-
@Daniel-San this is so me right now. BRUTAL nagging
-
Here we go! Drying from a little pre-soak, don’t call it cheating. This mofo is a ton of bricks and needs a wettin’ to hug ma bodeh. I went a slight loose on purpose, so far feeling real good about the measurements. Cat wait till it dries!
-
@WhiskeySandwich Sick! Mine arrives tomo! How long did you soak it for? And how warm? I was going to do the same to get out the small amount of shrinkage.
-
@Mr-Linz only about 20 minutes in bath-hot water. It may have taken any remaining shrinkage out but who knows, I just def needed to form it, it’s rigid as fuuuuuk
-
@WhiskeySandwich Hahaha that makes sense! I have to shorten the sleeves on mine so trying to get the shrink out early. Never thought about getting it to form, much simpler way to start out. Definitely not cheating in my book.
-
@Mr-Linz yeah I do it with all my heavy stuff, it helps set the fit, rid the shrink, and keeps fades from shifting after the first wash, I find. I had a pair of Bravestar 21.5oz with real bad shift. Not too big a deal, just evo, and gets lost in the fades after a while… The sleeves seemed super long at first, but after getting all the creases they effectively shortened up to ideal length.
-
@WhiskeySandwich hadn't thought about the creases settling in and that shortening the arms. Will be interesting to see how much of a factor that is....
-
This shirt is bonkers. It was about 98% dry this morning from my soak yesterday - good enough for me. Been wearing for only about 2 hours, I swear it's already showing hints of fading. I got it to stand up before putting it on too - literally plopped it on the ground by the collar, and it was like "I got this". This fabric makes me want 16oz SBG pants too. I can't say enough about it. Graham hooked me up with perfect sizing. I really don't think it could be better, but it'll be nice when it relaxes a bit. I'll def have to do some pics later, I want to share this as I nerd out.

I did the same with my western version. With this crazy heavy fabric, I think that was the best choice.
