Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
^ I'm gonna have to respectively disagree. I am absolutely in love with IH donut style buttons and hope this feature never changes.
-
I agree with you tatman. I like the donut style too. I'm thinking more about the metal itself used to make them. Think of it this way - take your standard donut button and imagine it in polished stainless steel. Or, for example, if you had a SBG pair of jeans, you could make the buttons in anodized black titanium (that's a little crazy to manufacture, but you get the idea I'm toying with.)

Various models of Triple Works jeans have bronze colored buttons, as did a couple of the IH special editions. You might consider a pair if you're really curious about that detail.
I'm a bit ambivalent on changing them, myself. Unless we're talking real copper, pewter, brass or bronze; then it might be cool enough to really suck me in.

I'm following you now I was thinking you meant more of a traditionsl style button but true metals could be nice on some models…

- IH blanket lined chambray western (preferably soft, mock twist chambray fabric)…
- TW 8oz black denim work shirt (i.e. the fabric used in IHSH-71) with non-contrast stitching and black buttons…

It won't happen. I have nothing against Vans, but Haraki and I like to work with smaller companies that we admire for their craftsmanship, dedication, sense of pride and ethic. When I can't speak personally to the person or people actually making the stuff I'm not interested…..
G,
possible a collab with MillReef in Japan?
few years ago SDA made some very nice models in collab with MillReef.
i own one pair.
u too own one pair i think.21oz…sbg denim...heavy chambray...hickory...

Indigo dyed corduroy type III (with long arms of course! ) with contrast or solid indigo (not dipped) colored stitching

I tried to contact them and got no where…..

Yes, it truly sucks. Dry time alone makes it worthless in my estimation.

I know some different options have been in the works for a while, but I'd like to see some enameled buttons on shirts.
These are really nice looking. So is the chambray material, too.
Maybe Triple Works could do a variation on the IHSH-46- lighter weight chambray (say 7-8oz) and in a slightly darker green…

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I've been looking around for a nice biker belt, the old ones that are tooled sort of like Western belts, but studded with metal and metal-mounted polished stones or plastic gems. So I'd love to see a super thick, top-grain leather hand tooled and studded dual prong biker belt from IH. Sort of a less gaudy version of this:
