Where does everyone live?

Hi Everyone
Finally emerging from the shadows after way too long!
I hail from Manchester originally and now reside in the fine city of Edinburgh - been an IH convert for around 3 years with an ever growing collection (as much as my bank balance permits) thanks to Giles and everyone in Gosport who I seem to be e-mailing on a weekly basis.
Nice to be on board and contributing wherever I can
Cheers

Welcome @jason1967. Thanks for the great intro.
-
Good to see you @jason1967 - thanks for coming out of the shadows
Edinburgh is indeed a fine city, Giles and I are looking forward to staying with friends there over Easter

Hi Madame Buttonfly,
Many thanks - I'm sure finally 'coming out' will only serve to increase my knowledge and understanding and the inevitable increase in purchases……..good on all counts.
It's a beautiful place...…..do Giles and yourself know the place quite well?
Nice to be on board finally
cheers

Despite having visited Edinburgh several times for business I didn't know the city at all really, but friends bought a house (holiday home) there a few years ago and we visited in August 2018 and had a ball. Walked and walked all over town, and spent some time at the festival, which was amazing - so we got to know it a bit, and are certainly looking forward to going back.
And our friends are planning to move to Edinburgh permanently because they love it so much

Does anyone live near Cham in Germany ?
Cheers

@jason1967 would be great to have a retailer up in Scotland, maybe we can persuade @Danny RnH that Rivet & Hide Edinburgh should be his next venture!

@Madame Buttonfly I've often dreamed about living in Edinburgh

Hi everyone -
I'm over in Nashville, Tennessee. I have been browsing the forum for a while, and snagged my 21 oz 633s from Self Edge last year for my first pair of IH. Obviously, that turned into a number of second-hand flannels from Grailed, etc. Thanks for all the pics posted to see how the clothes look in wild (I also spend way too much time checking out everyone's EDC)!

@dubj7 always nice to know there are people out there using this as a resource and enjoying the content. Even better when they get involved. Welcome!
Nashville is one of the places on my top 10 US destintions. Mostly because of Third Man Records but also for the rest of the music history.

Hello all - Ive been browsing the forum for info etc for a few months and have decided to finally sign up and hopefully start posting content (useful or otherwise). Im based in the E. Midlands of the UK, into very noisy rock/metal, and have a particular penchant for leather jackets.

Welcome @BloodEagle - from how you've described yourself, you could be @Giles's long-lost brother/cousin/love-child…
But seriously, very pleased you've joined us

I've lurked for a couple weeks, but was compelled to start posting
I currently live in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the United States. I was born in a city about 10 miles east of Ann Arbor called Ypsilanti. Don't ask me how to pronounce it.

Welcome @JES600 . Have a nephew studying in Ann Arbor and visited twice, liked it a lot. My sister used to live in Grand Rapids so I’ve been there several times. Cool state!
-
@AdamJ Yep. We just call it Ypsi. Ip-see. Rhymes with gypsy.

@motojobobo There are several schools in Ann Arbor. The University of Michigan is the largest.
