I keep out of this thread for good reason, but this was too good not to share. Both Brits and Aussies should enjoy this….
"Watch @BrettLee_58 show @PiersMorgan no mercy in a ferocious over where the latter failed to trouble the scorers http://cricketa.us/1ik409p"

For what good reason do you keep out of this, Snowy? C'mon man, I'm half English but I still enjoy winding the Poms up!
And yeah, the Piers Morgan thing - awesome. I saw that live and loved it. Some were saying he was brave for facing up to BL, but seeing the way he basically ran away from every delivery made me think otherwise.
-
Thanks for the link Snowy, i'd forgotten he was doing that. Jealous of BL be able to bowl at that toad, think I would've aimed for his throat.
Looks like we're going throw some young blood in to the team for the 5th test, can we stop the white wash….?
-
Toad…ha ha. He really is.
Well the Aussie media are certainly pumped up about a 5-0 whitewash, so that should almost certainly prevent it from happening.
I feel sorry for Cook having to bear the brunt of the criticism. Sure, his tactics have been "interesting" at times, but he hasn't had much help along the way. How he stays so calm and diplomatic when interviewed amazes me. I'd be hurling bricks at journos by now!

That'll be a no then. We may as well have Piers Morgan opening the batting the way things are going. Had high hopes for Carberry but it just hasn't happened.

17 for 4…..seventeen for four!!! What a farce.
-
What an embarrassing loss in the ODI series! Very pleased that we gave India a good drubbing in the test series but things don't look good for the World Cup with us playing so badly in 50 over games.
-
I have to congratulate the Aussies and commiserate with the Kiwis for their only bad performance. An enjoyable cricket World Cup for most people. Just don't mention England…
-
Pretty excited for the Ashes, love watching it when the series is in the UK. I think the Aussies are really going to miss Ryan Harris's bowling on the pommy pitches.
-
One down, roll on Thursday and Lords…!
-
At least it won't be 5-0!

I wonder what is it about the two countries that produces such different types of cricketers. The closest to Australian style of batting in England is Jos Buttler or Ben Stokes. Australia has Chris Rogers (who has played for four counties) who is more like Cook than Warner. One would think that there would be similarities between two sides that have been playing against each other for so long.
