@Twistlock those look killer. Curious as to the leather?

@the246guy I haven't worn them for very long but they were really comfy out of the box. CXL was soft and flexes well. No blisters. I am a Brannock 10E (9.5E on my left/10E on my right) and took these in a 9E and fit well. I have flat feet with low volume and a low instep. I find they feel really nice on the feet. Lots of room in the toe box. Perfect with a thicker wool sock.
I don't own any Red Wings, but I am a 9E in Viberg's 2030 last, and a 9E in Alden's Trubalance and Barrie last. They all fit about the same for me.
Hope that helps. Highly recommended.

@stichdown-shell Thanks for the reply. I tried them today, they were kind of comfortable, but they look like a beetle when looked from the top and I did not quite like that. Also the tighter waist on these is not making it appealing enough to me. I'm still on the fence with these if I should get them or just pass them on and look for something else.

So, I feel like the ocean of women's boots is probably endlessly deeper and more subjective (if the size of men's vs women's clothing departments tells me anything), BUT I figured I'd give this a shout for my wife's sake.
She's looking for a pair of quality boots. Not disposable fashion boots, and nothing custom or top tier. Just a versatile, easy to wear, good for most occasions, Red Wing level boot. Mid range, if you will. Ask the wives if you must, please! I don't want to buy her another pair of boots that just gets neglected in the closet or falls apart in a year. Thanks! -
@WhiskeySandwich my wife has a couple pairs of RW women’s boots, Truman used to make women’s boots that she has a pair of. She recently got some Grant Stones that she loves!!
-
@WhiskeySandwich my wife and daughters wear boots from RM Williams. They are an Australian firm that also make men’s boots. Quality is good. The other brand they use is Grenson which has a wider range of styles. They are UK based.

Thanks gents! Good pointers. I’ve never really peered so deeply into the women’s clothing/footwear market, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it is so oversaturated that it’s nearly impossible to wade through without some kind of known reference. Kinda like shopping on Amazon these days.

@WhiskeySandwich I feel your journey, dude. Once I went down the road of high quality gear, it wasn’t long after I began to look for the female equivalents. It’s a much harder mission to accomplish. Far fewer options. My girl doesn’t want to dress like a dude. And I’m grateful for that. But she also really digs the philosophy of this thing we share. She has some IH pieces now…Imogene and Willie have some great clothing for women. Raleigh denim has some cool jeans for ladies as well. Boots though…I’m always on the hunt.
Adalante is another company she likes. They seem to have a very humanitarian driven business model. And their boots look really well made too.

Yuketen make women's boots, and you could go the custom mto route with a pnw maker like wesco, whites, or nicks?
