Our Cars (dream or actual)

I'd love to be able to afford a cherry '69 Chevrolet Nova or '70 Olds Cutlass 442 – one can only dream

Been on the hunt for a 67-68 Camaro or a 71-72 chevelle. I did look at one nova but the X bodies just didn't do it for me. Also the cutlass W31 package is pretty sweet. Visually I like the chevelle more but they are all G bodies.
For now it's a corvette z06 2002. Awesome car with more power that is really needed.

This is the test mule for the upcoming Rolls Royce SUV. It's based on a shortened Phantom II body, and the spoiler is there to simulate the airflow over a hatchback.
Personally, I think that this car is far cooler than any oversized SUV, and Rolls should put it into production. It reminds me of Nick Ashley's Strange Rover.

My favorite part of the summary for the Strange Rover, describing the original production car- "Introduced in 1967, the V8-engined P5B was considerably quicker than its six-cylinder 3-Litre predecessor, the V8's 140-plus horsepower boosting top speed to 110mph and chopping 7 seconds off the 0-60mph time."

Now if I'd been organised and bought the Strange Rover, I could have stolen the small block from my brother's pickup. That would have shaved another seven seconds off!

Changing gears a little bit from most other cars in the thread, here's my Focus ST. It's stock other then wheels (so I can swap between summer/winter tires) and a Cobb/Mountune tune. I've had it for 3 years, and it still puts a big smile on my face at least once every time I drive it.

@louisbosco 6speed manual is fun

@louisbosco here in the states that's a Mazda 3S Grand Touring. I sell Mazdas for a living and have a 3S hatchback myself. Great car, congrats. Quick question though– what are the two things on the front bumper between the headlight and fog light? Looks like the round one could be a parking sensor, but that's not an option here in the states. Just curious.

thanks guys!
@ben2t yeah i'm still getting used to the extra gear, my previous was a 5sp and the one before was a m-dct. so i still need to get used to that extra gear especially when cruising and downshifting. how's your st so far?
@xtcclassic mm yeah. you're right. though i think in the states it comes from the mexico factory while for us in aust, it's from the japan factory. there are some slight variation even with interior features and such. the two front dots are the front park sensors yes. it's an extra option and i find it really useful when it comes to tight spaces when others dont know how to park. also, the problem i have between the sedan and the hatch is that the hatch back has the cutout for the twin pipes exhaust whereas the sedan doesn't. more of a sedan man myself so i really couldn't see myself driving the hatch…

Actually, the 3i models (with the 2.0 engine) are mostly built in the Mexican factory (we still get random ones in from Japan) but the 3S models are all built in Japan. It's interesting that different countries have different available options, I never really thought about that. Anyway, enjoy your new car, you're going to love it.
