Viberg

Ahhh, I see … cool! There are other make-ups right now that are on discussion for voting, just in case you're on a hunt for a pair of mtos. -
Any Viberg owners care to offer some advice to help me with the following conundrum?
I'm looking at getting a pair of Viberg service boots. This would be my second pair as I already own a pair of scout boots with a Vibram sole. I've narrowed my choice down to two options:
1) Brown service boot with dainite sole.
2) Brown service boot with vibram sole.
My dilemma basically relates to the sole type. I've tried on both pairs and while the Dainite sole felt fine when I tried it on, the Vibram is definitely more comfortable on the foot. As soon as I put the Vibram sole on I knew that this would be super easy to wear all day long. On the other hand, the Dainite sole makes the boot a little dressier which I don't get with the pair of scout boots I currently own. I'm pretty casual with most of the clothes that I wear but having something a little nicer to wear on my feet wouldn't be a bad thing.
Waddaya reckon?

backed, it will give you a new option, you don't seem to have atm. What is always a good thing. And if this really does not work at all for you, you can still resole the pair with a vibram of your choice…
Hadn't considered resoling as an option but that is a fair point…

Dainite, absolutely.
As you've pointed out, it gives you a sleeker option. As rocket pointed out, if you don't like the Dainite, you can resole down the road.
And that Vibram sole looks, um, very comfortable.

@Qinhan I have the Dainite sole on a couple pair and I love them. The boots are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Anytime I travel and know I'm going to be walking a lot they are my first choice.

@Qinhan
I own the kudu service boot in Dainite and the nat cxl service boot in a Christy sole and love them both for their different roles.
Def glad I ventured outside my comfort zone with the Christy's, as they work so well in a casual setting and feel like sneakers, where as sometimes I feel the kudu and Dainite look more uppity and ill matched in certain circles (also due to the shiny nature of the leather).
