And the S5000 cut is the best cut that Samurai offer in my opinion, 710's might be more popular with the slim cut crowd, but the 5000 is the classic. Plus, the VX denim is also a great evolving denim
VX is slimmer than the standard 5000 cut, no?.. Anyway: bought to compare with my 710XX'es… Best fitting pair stays, the other will go on sale...

The VX refers to the denim, the cut is the standard 5000, slim and straight, but not too slim.
The 710 is a great cut, it's just that loads of people over on SUFU jumped that bandwagon to death, and sized them down to painful extinction of their genitals
I actually sized up on my last pair of 710's, gave me a great 55 style, anti fit, top block.

Slim straight is what I'm after. As for downsizing on the 710XX: OUCH!.. I got 'm TTS and their mid-rise does NOT make sense to me… I'm sure the slightly less slim VX'es will work better... We'll see... Thanks for the info, Meg...

And now, for something completely different:
Yeehaw, y'all!
This is just to confirm Seul's suspicion that I'm some sort of crazed Texas redneck…:) -
The vamp is elephant. I suppose it could've been a grandpa- because of Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES) restrictions on the sale of elephant hides, leather usually comes from animals that have been culled from national park herds because of age, illness, injury or for breeding balance. I like to think the elephant lived a long, happy life before becoming part of my boots.
