Thanks for that guys…bit worried they'll make my head look too round:(
I think i need a pointier beanie (more room on top) rather than a 'cap'.
For example, I like the grey one you wear in some of your photos Beatle...bit more room left on top.
Thanks again for all your suggestions....all good for a hat newbie:) -
Wow i kinda like that Ranger Hoodie in the Triple Aught site…
I have a frickin shaved potato for a head and i still think i look silly in beanies... i wear them when its cold anyway though

Their Secret Service sweater is really something special

Beware their (TAD that is) Aussie merino wool. I asked them and it's from sheep that have mulesing done to them. I'm no expert, or a bleeding heart liberal, but you're better off with New Zealand merino in general, much less chance of animal cruelty.

this has served me well for years. those buzz rickson watch caps are great too.

i have a saint james beanie im wearing at the moment
canada goose has a really good looking maroon knitted one.

as a HUGE filson fan i have been rocking the mackinaw cap for years as well… cant get enough of it.. other than that i always get the USN wool watch cap from my local army surplus store..is about 10 bucks and its warm.
that being said i sort of have my eye on a BR watch cap as well they are super nice and seem really warm.. i just like my watch cap to be little shorter when i roll it up..

can't beat some some good scottish cashmere

i bought one of their watch caps last week and i like it so far. also, a normal USN watch cap from a surplus store is always a good investment. warm as hell and under $10.

I dunno…I looked up flystrike as well...I'd rather have the procedure done to me, no matter how inhumane, than have blowflies eating my anus...
I'm not defending TAD or Aussie wool, just a thought...

Yep, I think it's one of those issues where human's will debate back and forth, but it basically sucks to be the sheep either way. TAD were pretty cool about it though, when I asked, and said they'd look into it.
Check out Icebreaker from New Zealand, their stuff looks cool.
