IHJ-31 - 17oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Type II Jacket
-
Interesting and well-made, but nothing seems to top the type III as far as style & design.
I disagree - a well fitting type II is the best design IMO. The pocket shape and stance is more balanced and allows for slightly more length without looking "off" the way long type IIIs do.

@den213:
^…don't forget the Lee Rider ;).
So…many...beauties. I love the Rider.

Hey guys, I'm completely on the fence about this v. the SE Sugarcane unsanforized model v. not getting a Type II at all and I need some help in the pic department. Are there any slim guys out there (~40" chest) who have one or could take some pics with one? @Sam if you have the time? It's pretty much my last big buy of the year and I want to get it right. Of course if I decide against it, there's always the olive herringboner and flannels to look forward to!

Hey @Anesthetist
I'll get some photos for you on monday if that's ok for you? Do you want to see me in the jacket that fits me perfectly and then one size up? I'm a 38" chest and a 32" waist so you'll know how it will compare.
Need anything else just ask.

Perfect man, thanks so much. We are similar (I'm 40" in the chest with a 33" waist) in size so I think that would be a great help.

Got this jacket in the outlet two year ago. Very underrated from my point of view and coming along slowly but nicely. 1 Wash.

Little update. I love this jacket so much and the 17oz is such a perfect balance between heft and draping nicely to the body

@cj: Thank you…I am still surprised that both the jacket and the fabric did not get the love it deserved. The longer I wear it, the more I love it!

I guess you're one of the lucky few! I'll have to live vicariously through your posts
