My second Scandi/Kiwi collab of the last few days. Like IH I don't (normally) do light, but this is a great summer beer, loads of citrusy hops over a dry wheaty base. It's like hop-soda.

I'm doing these:

Normally I don't dig the coffee stouts, they often fail with a less than full body, or the coffee notes are too overpowering. This was pretty good. Lots of alcohol and malt to back up the sweet, burnt coffee taste.

And now this.

An absolute demonic beast of a beer. If I don't drink one per week I feel like I'm missing out on life…

Best thing about Belgium, besides the Belgian beers (obv), is that American beers are more and more distributed here… Cause I love your beers... I love new beers… I love getting to know a brewery...

Nevertheless, I think it's quite impossible to beat Orval, Saison Dupont, and Chimay/ Westmalle triple... Price/ qualitywise, no one does it better than the Belgians...
