WHITE's SmokeJumper R/O: no Celastic toe reinforcement
Ironically, [in my experience] the smoothest & most comfortable way to wear leather is a rough-out version__ single layer [ie, no lining, just sock between skins]. awesome 2nd skin feeling when sized right. .. & your foot literally slides in/out like it's buttered
Unconditioned_ fresh out of the box, no Celastic toe

BI or anyone - love this look - is this standard smoke-jumper last? and single or double sole (looks like single but hard to tell)? I like the soft toe, no liner.
-
sure looks like a semi dress last but i can't be certain… it's a single midsole

Hi Alex, I ordered a pair in January, almost the same. What was the wait for yours?
Nick
Here´s pics of my Horse Hide Semi Dress.

Leather Liner: BlackI REALLY love my White's. They were a little stiff the first couple of days but now they fit like a glove. And the arche ease system really fits me perfectly as I got a little strange feet…
Qualitywise, there can not be any better boots out there. Built like a tank with exceptional craftmanship.
Simply perfect and will last me a long time!

Great choice. I'm waiting for Baker's to call me back - I sent foot measurements/order form by snail mail about a week ago. Going to join the "Natty CXL" club - seeing a lot of folks on this thread trying this - a "light duty" bounty hunter, all Ncxl, no liner, soft toe, mini-lug, -1/4" standard heel. But I'm already thinking about another pair similar to Alex81 build.

Hi Seanocono and all, for 38 leather samples (Brown Dress is featured everywhere on the site) take a look at: www.eastwestapparel.co.uk - and go to Leather Samples from the navigation list. There are a few leathers missing but mostly obvious one's that can be googled etc….No rough out pics but again there are plenty of examples out there in the ether!
They needed to be loaded onto the site for use in the near future so apologies for shoe horn-ing the site on here but it's less work for me that way! ; )
Enjoy.

EastWest, thanks, again, for posting those pics. Your website is coming together, nicely; and looks great so far. I wish you tremendous success.
Cheers Seanocono, much appreciated. Slowly but surely.
All the best and happy to give leather descriptions.

Switching laces from the original light/dark brown to either gold/brown nylon or black leather. What do you think? Black right?

Black leather is the way to go with those.
