The Flat Head
-
Well guys luckily I was able to make these work - soaked them and wore them while damp, stretched them enough that I can tolerate the tightness at the waist. My original angst with these wasn't that they didn't fit as much as the tagged size and measurements on both self edge and dc4 was 2-3 inches off of what I received. I understand the handmade variations in size but that's just excessive IMO.

SE is definitely off. DC4 reflects the measurements a bit more accurately. I was speaking to Alex at T+Y last week and he even brought up in our conversation the discrepancy between the indicated measurements and the actual. Which is why I was surprised he made them available for sale without having first provided their own table of measurements.

Anyone have an issue with the wide shoulders on FH shirts? I've wanted to pick one up but the shoulder measurements always scare me off.
The fabrics are just cool as shit.
That's an issue I have with TFH as well >:(. The chest fits me, but the shoulders are miles apart. Like what jaco said, they taper quite a bit.

Nice stacks man..I need to get on a pair of FH jeans soon. Was thinking F2001 maybe
-
The zipper is the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I like the fit of them though. Are there any comparable FH styles like the 2011?

ok so the
30011001 then…Thanks buddy and gotcha on the sizing -
won't tate take them back? I mean if they're not measuring their own product and they're using someone else's size tables and they won't stand behind the numbers they post I'd throw a fit. they ought to cover return shipping and exchange for a proper pair if it's so far off
i would have returned them but they require all tags and such for returns - and when I tried them on for the first time I ripped the main tag on the back pocket. Plus the fact that I'm training for my first triathlon and expect to shed 10-15 pounds over the next 4 months, so it just wasn't a show stopper for me or a real priority to return them. Just annoyed at the discrepancies in measurements vs reality more than anything.
