just completed sample order forms for:
21oz white selvedge denim modified type III
21oz white selvedge denim 555's^ I’m excited to see of both of these when the samples are completed!

@Giles , do you have an idea of when the official thread for the 18oz vintage denim blanket lined storm rider jacket will be up?
I’m hoping to see the official measurement chart soon, so I can determine if this jacket might work out for me or not!

They are due here in early September, though target dates from our Japanese friends (all the Japenese we deal with) are always a little optimistic and telling us that things are going to be late is seen as a great loss of face, so updates are hard to get.
When we get them here we will start a thread, until we do, we can't take photos or measurements

Hey Giles what do I put in the form to get an email when these arrive?

Hi,
Not a 100% sure this is the correct thread for this. I know there is 25oz XHS type 3 vest, but has there been or might there be a 25oz XHS type 3 jacket or even a type 2 denim jacket? The 25oz XHS is the denim for me and I have probably enough pairs to last me several times, especially with the new repair service. But I would love a XHS jacket to pair them with.
I noticed that the AW catalog jean selection was primarily 14oz, can we expect some 25oz?
Just headed to Pinkomo to pick up a new UHF
Thanks to whole stubborn crew and all the helpful forum members.

Haraki has always said that making Type III's out of 25oz would be impossible. I will try him again in Sept.
Thanks. The vest is half way there

It’s the easier half though. The difficulty is with attaching arms in a satisfactory fashion with denim of that thickness.

just to chime in-I have IH-SE collaboration 22 that is a left hand gray weft, I want to say 21oz I might be wrong about that. I got it because it was raw, unsanforised, uncalendered, unwashed, loom state. Anyway
For a while it was like wearing a flak jacket. The jacket wore me. If I turned to look back the jacket still faced forward. You think I'm kidding. Good luck with the 25 -

Good luck with the 25I have a pair of jeans in that same denim, I know what you mean. That is probably the toughest denim I've ever worn….I feel like it's on par with UHR denim.
