Tricker's
-
^^This is solid advice. I have a total of four pairs of Tricker's in three different lasts and two different sizes. It's going to depend on how well the last suits your foot and what you want think a comfortable fit should be.
Oh yeah- I wear a 10D in Wesco and an 11 in Asics. My Tricker's are 9.5 and 9, standard 5 fitting.

Look great and like to see Trickers getting some love!

Finally got a pair of the Stow boots - which I've been coveting for a while - today. They're in the caramel kudu leather. Great boots, fit really nicely on my wide and flat feet with thin socks, should be a little snug with thicker ones. Go true to size. Gorgeous, very happy. .
Don't normally wear my cuffs like that, it's just so you can see the boots. -
Love the boots so much I bought myself a pair of the shoes too, in Flint Suede on a Dainite sole.
Very comfortable out of the box. I went half a size down on the 4444 last, which is very wide, though my flat feet all that means is that my toes can properly spread out all the way without being squeezed. A bit loose at the heel, but should be better with thicker socks on, but it isn’t too bad and isn’t noticeable when walking, and I wouldn’t want to size down anymore at the toe box.
Got them from trickersoutlet.com, which you should check out if you’re interested in this brand, because they discount steeply on there, and there are occasionally samples and one-offs on there for people who fancy something a bit different.
Already looking forward to the day they eventually need a re-sole. I’m thinking they’ll look dope on a crepe sole, and I intend to wear these casually anyway.

Me again. Got another pair, this time Chelsea’s (Trickers call them the ‘Stephen’). Same last as on the Stow boots a couple of posts up. That last just fits my wide toe box so well. Looking forward to getting some patina on these, they should scuff up and wrinkle nicely.

Nice collection @EdH hows the kudu coming along?
-
@Nkwkfld No real changes in colour, a few creases on the top. The leather has softened up really nicely though and they're very comfy. I did a few applications of cobbler's cream/Renovateur over the Summer to speed up the break in, and it has paid huge dividends.

Those are pretty slick.
Thanks buddy They were an eBay purchase arriving in great condition with minimal wear to their Vibram soles and an absolute bargain at £50

Trickers Bourton

Coveted a pair of plain toes since I saw the Alden blucher. They’re not too easy to come by here in the UK but luckily Trickers came through with their ‘Robert’ derby.
Best pair of shoes I’ve owned and I wear them all the time.

@Dishelveled any chance of getting patina pictures of these? Thank you
