@3141592654 Don’t know if you’ve seen this.
-
thanks @goosehd. was lucky enough to grab one of these second hand. I've heard it said before, but it's true: my OD lefty is the first thing I'd grab if my house caught fire
-
ordered too
curious which one I like more
went for L , on the normal one I changed to M …. -
@Graham Perfect fit! Looks made especially for you. Inspiring me to get mine out after a little time in hibernation..!
-
Thanks @Barry_Stingray I'm loving it, especially now it has the GA moved over onto it:
-
soaked and initial wash done ️
30 degrees max 400 rpm spin .
no marbling, no white lines and folding creases at sleeves complete gone without ironing
love those buttons after the od torture, they look super vintage now !
-
@Daniel-San I didn't do any initial dipping or washing with the OD, only wore it twice… maybe later. Forgive the bad photos
-
Is there a reason to soak the 526 OD when you get it like there’s is with the Indigo version?
-
@PJS
Not necessarily .
I do it with all my new jeans and jackets to get the folding creases out. Specially on od stuff pretty important if you ask me. Otherwise you might get lines .
Than I think it jump starts the fading, but that’s just my experience. -
Do most of you guys end up with taking your UHF size in the 526 OD?
-
Sorry if I drove you guys crazy, but you all know how it is..... it's ordered and I'm excited!
-
@PJS I ordered a size S of both the OD and the indigo. Usually for other IH jackets I have taken an XS ( my usual size). Since I have little experience with IH products, I believe it is essential to choose by checking the measurements in the tables because they vary a lot from item to item, from color to colour. I don't like jackets that are too short so I chose one size up and I think I was right.

Mine will arrive today!
I chose a size L, like the UHFs, as I like jackets tight and close-fitting.
For comparison, I have an XL Levi’s trucker and I feel it’s too wide at the chest and shoulder-sloppy.
