D97x7, thanks for the pic. It appears as if your pair evolves into a nice electric blue color. Though I'm not 100% sure because it may be exaggerated by the camera angle and/or light setting? Could you maybe take another pic (frontal), please?
However, I think you've got a solid fit there! Enjoy in good health, sir!Yes I think they do look slightly bluer in the pic than in real life although not that much in natural light, in artifical light they look much darker. I would take another pic but as G has already posted one which is a better representation of the colour there is no need really, that and my skills with a camera a sorely lacking . I would add that my pair have had one machine wash at about three months wear whereas I don't think G' have so that my be why mine look lighter.

If you tuck your gear I can understand being pre-occupied with the belt being centred, but otherwise this is something for the Mental Thread…
well IIRC IJ always tucks his shit so the way he looks at that belt is totally understandable. I`m just thinking if a large would do the trick, since no XL´s are left!
Looking at G´s pic and all those free holes up front, a large should do it.Finn, I sent you a PM.

any washes?
i got derailed by delusions of grandeur with the RAWWAR kicking off, but i realize that i probably have little chance of winning and with the shit weather here in chicago i've been back on the 25oz train. i still have a month to go probably until i see some bright blue with my own eyes.
maybe i just need to go outside when the sun is shining i'm not too good at that.

^love the electric blue on these jeans. If they weren't that heavy, I might be tempted.

no washes, but think the light on that day made the fadings appear more prominent then they are, but you see what there will come…

man of the dark, or what

Hmm, i didn't like the fit on me, due to the stiffness they didn't drape as nicely (of course they will settle with time). But as I sweat pretty easily I think i would not be able to wear them except in winter.
-
Yeah, and tbh they are also too "regular" for my personal taste. but these sure do fade beautifully and this alone makes them interesting. Maybe the extra-dipped 23 oz SE collab (forgot the name, the one which caused argument ;D) will fade similar?
Oh, here's the fit in W33 btw.

Yea Max I think it is a good fit, but since they are so heavy, it will take some time to start to look "normal." This seems to be the case for the people who have had them for 2 months at least.

Max- At the DC4 shop? I thought I recognized the old black Union Special.
I got the 666s in 25 oz and had a similar first impression. I think that the thickness and stiffness of the denim seem to accentuate certain folds that would not look so pronounced in the softer 21 oz denim. I have been wearing mine for about a month (mostly on the weekends) and they are starting to settle down a little bit.

^^ yes, at DC4.
^you may soak just the hem to get some bleeding out. There are also guys who put ducktape on the inside of the hem to prevent bleeding. i personally love and embrace indigo stains, but you might want to try these two tricks.
