@Finn666 I never liked the buttons on the Chateau and I found it to be quite slim, almost feminine. I can see how the velcro closures on the Langford would be annoying, though.
Personally, I prefer the Branta/Black Line. I have an earlier iteration of this jacket (http://uncleotis.com/shop/designer/windemere-parka-black) and it's been excellent for the past two Montreal winters. (Not to mention, you don't have to fear being splattered with red paint by angry animal rights activists every time you're walking around the city.)

Didn't see a city guide for Sacramento and wasn't sure if it was worth creating one…. Anyway, in Sacramento for a few days for the Cal International Marathon. Anyone have any recommendations on restaurants/things to do besides so the Capitol Building?

I've got weird body proportions, with extremely long legs. (If you want to get technical, my upper to lower body segment ratio is around 0.85, whereas 1 is more typical.)
This is a bad
PhotoshopGIMP job on a Private White x Alexander Leathers Café Racer I tried on last year. The jacket on the left has been extended by a couple of inches, whilst the one on the right is stock, obviously.I think that the jacket on the left looks a better cut for me, as it balances out my upper and lower body proportions better, whereas the one on the right is maybe a bit short.
Anyone got an opinion? Am I just overthinking things as usual?

I prefer the look of the jacket in the right hand picture @Graeme.

Left is better, for the reasons you stated, Graeme.

I realize this is not too helpful, but something between the two would be ideal, IMO.

Yeah left looks good.

Thanks.
Both the left and right image were originally the same photo. I wasn't necessarily looking at getting this style, just trying to figure out an idea of what length suits me. And the general consensus seems to be a bit longer is better, though not necessarily as a badly edited photo of a motorcycle jacket.
Schott offer a longer Café Racer, and I've seen similar vintage pieces.

thanks a ton for getting back @Finkster even though it wasn't that much of help hahaha
…so i tried the chateau parka in olive yesterday and XL should be just fine. still gonna wait and see if others have any opinions or even similar jackets they can name before i'll cop one...
unfortunately both, the J39 and M11 are sold out, so i have to look for something else instead.
so here are the fit pics of the chateau parca (XL):
