My question is: Has anyone successfully removed body odor from the nylon in Primaloft fabric?
My Monday is dedicated to laundering this however needed to get some of that stank out. I’ve seen a few things online with the usual suspects: baking soda, vinegar, dish soap… and some out there ones like meat tenderizer and mouth wash. I’m willing to try anything and everything. This jacket is perfect for layering and I’d like to wear it again… but it’s too stinky and also transferring the stink to other layers too. Anyways. Maybe TMI, but I’d really like to hear anything that you all have done to remove some serious underarm body odor from clothes, particularly synthetic fabrics (but I need some cotton too… my Untucked and Strike Gold sweatshirt are the other two layers) Thank you dear friends [emoji38][emoji1317]

Starting the laundry journey early as I needed to hit the store this morning. Picked up the baking soda laundry booster. So far they’ve had a bucket wash with either Tide Sport or Persil (can’t remember which one is in the mobile container) and then I’m going to hit them with the soda. I’ll update with results.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread. But the Buying and Selling board seems to have vanished, or have I just lost access to it?

A formal announcement regarding this will come shortly… however, I can say this, it hasn’t vanished. We are looking at it being made accessible to forum members with 20+ posts. Spam posts to reach that will result in a ban.
The reasons for this are many, but include internet scammers, and a lot of spammy, low effort sales links that go against the guidelines of the forum.

Is the 25oz black/black fabric gone for good and never coming back? Possibly this has been discussed elsewhere on the forum already but if it has then I missed it.

I have seen this question asked more than a few times and I have often wondered myself…
I have no idea if it’s coming back or not but I grabbed another pair when they were in the outlet. The black/black is epic stuff and I didn’t want to miss out

@Oaktavia Man If I'm correct your pair of 25oz bb fades sent me on a personal quest for my own pair a few months ago. Found the last pair of 666's in my size at pinkomo and I was so pumped.
I hope it's not gone forever. -
Well that's good and bad news…thanks @Alex.
I'm late to the 25oz game, just picked up my first pair in Indigo this past week and I love them. Beyond surprised with how "easy" they are to wear considering the weight, I was not expecting that at all considering all the talk about how beastly they are….which they definitely are at 25oz but also very easy to wear at the same time. These are easier to wear and already more comfortable than my UHR's. Love this fabric...might be my favorite IH denim fabric.
So now I've decided I need some 25oz black denim but of course...I'm too late and they are nowhere to be found.

tl;dr
OxiClean soak (~3 hours) + machine wash + air dry = no stinky synthetic fabricAn update to the laundry fest. The Arm & Hammer Laundry Booster and regular detergent able to get smells out of cotton very easily. OxiClean was needed to get it out of the synthetic fabrics. I soaked the primaloft jacket (IHJ-28) for ~3 hours prior to washing again. I used the “for colors” and no smells version of OxiClean and did not notice any color loss on the jacket. It actually was easier to dry after the machine wash than it was after the bucket hand wash. I can tell why this fabric does really well in the wind and rain, it really does hold the water and air inside of it really well when washing. I had it weigh it down and squeeze out the bubbles in order to get it fully saturated. It took quite some time and effort to get this fully clean, but I now have my jacket back. Note to self - do all of this again before storing in the spring/summer.
