Seul, what size did you pick up in the beefy hoodies? A pair of those for beaters to begin with I think.
Medium. They were perfect after a wash. Nice taper to them. I'd get black - you'll notice the faulty/ crappy stitching errors otherwise…
-
Still considering the Momo GTB waffle hoody too now they actually make them man sized.
This is of interest to me…

Black size large incoming x 2. £8.99 each. Bargain !

Reigning champ makes the hoodies for Supreme right? In which case they're too heavy for my needs, I used to wear a lot of Supreme and their box logo hoodies are probably the heaviest hoodies I have ever worn, including IH, Jelado, BR, SDA etc… The quality is not on par, but for sheer bulk a Supreme box logo hoody is an absolute beast.
They make different weights for each season. Construction is top notch and they're made in Canada. Also, the cuts are made for larger guys so the lengths will be more appropriate for you than any Japanese cuts.
I have 4 hoodies, a pair of shorts and 2 sweatpants. All are exceptional and are actually aging with character.

Gav which UK retailer? Need a couple myself!
Amazon dude, just arrange by cheapest first.
Shane, I'm not doubting RC quality but they don't seem to have a plain black with black cord though.

I've been looking around and I don't see much in the way of Hemp denim, not for hippie reasons, but more into the durability factor. Would it be a viable option?
-
BuffaloBill, RedCloud have some Hemp Denim jeans (http://scout.rawrdenim.com/brands/red-cloud/denim-jeans/red-cloud-s423xx-h-raw-denim-jeans) They're the only brand that I know of who uses it. I too think about hemp for many reasons, mostly eco-friendly and durability also.

I had a pair of hemp jeans years ago. Completely forgot until I saw this. They lasted pretty well if I remember correctly!

Those Red Clouds were a limited edition, as I recall. I don't think they're planning to make any more, which is a shame. It looked fantastic.

Alrighty guys, I need your advice. In your opinion, what should I go go for first: a leather jacket, or boots? I have neither and they are both insanely expensive, so one purchase will most definitely hinder the other…

Boots. Unless you live in a cold climate most of the year.

Boots. You live in LA. You don't really need a leather jacket (despite what Blackheart will say ).

I'll go against the grain here… Jacket. They look cooler.

Go back through his fit pics; you'll agree that his footwear is in greater need of a coolness upgrade.
(No hate, Ben )

For sh!ts & giggles, what items did you have in mind?

Thanks for the inputs guys…and chris, you know i agree with you, no hate taken!
For jackets, I've been thinking something along the lines of these...
Himel Heron esque
mister freedom Bronco Champ (but with the stars)
mister freedom veg tan jacket (forget what it's called, but seeing worn pictures and feeling it after its been worn has piqued my interest)
Flat head
Flat head
I believe that self edge will be getting the two flat head jackets, and I think those may be the most practical options….
Boots:
lofgreen engineer (although the last pic is of vibergs, which shape i might like better)
viberg boondocker
I feel like it'd be easier for me to pull off the leather jacket, but I'll be damned if trying on the lofgren's didn't show me what I was missing in the footwear department. I also live in southern california where it isn't very cold, but I could easily wear the jacket most nights… then again, the jackets are twice the price of the boots.
Either way, at least you guys got some nice pics out of it and thanks for your help!
