IHSH-264-NAV - Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt - Navy/Black
-
Thank you on both accounts @neph93. It's great for my family as it means stability in this increasingly unstable world.

UHF + hickory stripe = ?
I was wearing these pants today and wanted to try the shirt on. At first, I didn’t think the combo worked, but I’m warming up to it! As always, another great release from IH.
I never would have thought of it myself, but it looks like you can pull it off.

Thanks, @Chap.
Please do copy. That's one of the things I get from the Fourm all the time.

Style and commitment, nicely done. Congratulations on tenure. My old mentor used to say that tenure protects the excellent from the mediocre. Mine came 27 years ago and that adage has proven itself true. Here's to excellence, brother. Carry on. And please keep posting pictures. Inspired and valuable to all yo.

Yes. The "old" Peter principal. "The Peter principle is a concept in management developed by Laurence J. Peter, which observes that people in a hierarchy tend to rise to their "level of incompetence." Here's to bucking that "rule."

Weather is finally cooperating—loving this thing.
First UHF and not the last -
That looks epic @dinobarnesberlin Great choice!

@dinobarnesberlin gotta love your shirt. I had that one but let it go as part of a trade deal for a Himel Bros jacket. I still have my Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt - Grey/Black

@Alex_24 you know it man…the forecast shows that the temps are dropping like flies which means we can finally start to layer up with some IH goodness.
-
Probably one of our favourites for the season - great shirt to get you introduced to IH.
We've still got sizes L-4XL left in stock if anyone is looking for one.https://brooklynclothing.com/collections/iron-heart/products/ihsh-264-nbk

First UHF and first piece of Iron Heart clothing. Love it and it will get a lot of use during the winter here in Sweden.

Picked one of these in XL from R&H. Been an expensive season for me haha… this should be the last.
The XL might be a tiny bit big on me, so maybe a wash will tighten it up a tad. My only other UHF is and IHSH-127-V2 (purple) that I got second hand (new condition) after it was extinct. I only just decided to give it a wash bc it was a significantly bigger XL than this one... I gave it a hot wash and hung it in the sun to dry, and it shrank quite a nice little bit.
Which brings me to a general UHF question — is there a way to keep these soft once you wash them? I imagine a trip in the dryer would do it, but that wouldn’t really be an option if you didn’t want any shrink. My purple UHF is still comfy but the super softness isn’t there at the moment. Maybe it’ll get soft again with wear...
