Seriously! I had no idea Iron Shop has a location here now (gonna try to visit) nor that there was an event. I'm just on a stopover to a wedding on the MS gulf coast for a college buddy… Same friggin coffee shop?? Just nuts.
It takes some of the sting out of having missed the anniversary party. See you at the next one, @alex !

To update, I did make it by @Josh James ISP outpost in NOLA and relayed the story to the staff, who were amused. It is a fantastic shop and the array of IH and GAH is astounding. They’re right on the street car line and I think they’re gonna crush it. Good times and I picked up a gorgeous wool hat from Sandlot. May see the crew Sunday!

That hat is amazing @mclaincausey. I tried it on when i was there last week and my wife thought i looked like a fool.
"what the hell would be different from me without the damn hat!!!?"
Seeing the GAH stuff in person impacted me the most from the trip there. I had no idea some of those pieces were so massive. They need a banana for scale in the studio photos, but i'd guess @Graham would constantly be eating them and have to run to the store for more.

“Hat tip” to @jordanscollected for the heads-up on the cap #dadpun

Ok now this is getting weird.
On the way to Gulfport this morning, I stopped for breakfast at this place that looked good in the warehouse district. Again, I was approached and asked if I was wearing Iron Heart as I stood at the host stand to find a seat. Josh and his lovely family were there and invited me to join them, and Alex and Keira and Ben and one of the gentlemen from Freenote ultimately assembled for a wonderful brunch. So nice to meet all of these wonderful people and have such a delightful, unexpected encounter AGAIN. As @Jett129 said, it is indeed time to buy some Powerball tickets.
I hope y’all have a great event and future for the NOLA ISP, and thank you for the wonderful brunch Josh!

That is wild @mclaincausey ! Coincidentally, my wife is on a work trip in NOLA this weekend too.

Also coincidentally, my cousin works in hospitality for the Link group, whose restaurant Cochon Butcher is catering the ISP party.
This is a simulation, right?

@jordanscollected was there last week and considering he’s in the food industry is probably good with knives. My thoughts are that he’s the point man scouting locations for IH and to perform the procedures. IH has shown up this week to take possession of the goods and to transport them back to the UK.
@mclaincausey while thinking he’s there for a wedding has been tricked into the area as a subject.
Here’s the theory in full: Jeff is going to use his skill to remove organs and Alex and crew are going to take them back to the UK. I’m still waiting for @Anesthetist to show up in all of this to put @mclaincausey under.
If you wake up in a tub of ice, do not…I repeat do not get out of the tub. Call 911 immediately…

if they want my liver or kidneys, joke’s on them

Love me some Butcher, but my wife’s favorite is La Boulangerie, the French bakery also owned by Donald Links group.
@mclaincausey were you at Willa Jean eating brunch by chance?
@goosehd I'm not patient enough to harvest organs, I’d start chopping away like a toddler that got into the knife block.
