@Jett129 I haven’t heard anything and didn’t even know about it until shortly before I posted that video. I am eagerly anticipating any news and or release.
I’ve often thought I was born at the wrong time/era. To have seen Hendrix, Joplin, Woodstock, etc… or the big band era Dorsey, Fitzgerald, Armstrong, etc…, or the blues greats…would be my dream.
So many great artists and beautiful music created by that era of musicians.
Not to lie, I really love music in general…but those have to be my favourite genres.
If I hear anything I’ll let you know.

Hear, hear @goosehd
I did get to see the Buddy Rich Big Band as a little boy, late in his career @Jett129
I have these thoughts often, but then I chastise myself for perhaps not giving enough credit to the music I do enjoy today… maybe it will be similarly revered in decades hence. But 1965-1975 would have been a great decade for this music lover to see a lot of jazz, blues, folk, and rock shows by some of his favorites.

@neph93 I have immense respect for RW artistically, but if I had to pick between him and DG, DG easily wins. Waters probably falls behind DG AND RW for me.
I will admit to not being as big a fan of SB, but I should give some deeper listens soon.

@mclaincausey I can never avoid mixing the art with the artist. I'll admit to forgiving some great artists with views that are distasteful to me, while I'll despise artists I deem mediocre for the same thing. For example I worship the poet Philiup Larkin, but fucking hate Morrisey.
While RW's contribution to PF and his solo material in the 80's is iconic, his attitudes now just seem the product of a man who doesn't go to the therapy he can clearly afford.
