RE: Rugby
Brilliant tactics used by Italy. New Zealand Super Rugby teams were doing this a few seasons ago, although nowhere near as good as Italy.

Wow! We never really see any of the games in Europe… Eddie Jones is a good coach.

Season will begin shortly here in NZ… looking forward to the Lions Tour.
Have you guys heard of the book Legacy: What the All Blacks Can Teach Us About the Business of Life. 15 Lessons In Leadership written by James Kerr?
It's got some interesting insights into the All Blacks culture, things like sweeping the sheds after games... you'd be hard pressed to find any tier 1 teams doing that... although I saw the Australian team picking up rubbish not long ago so they've obviously read the book.
How is England going under Eddie Jones?

RE: + LAST & LOOM - NEW ZEALAND BOOTS +
Thanks @Seul and hi @tmg, @Dion, @neph93.
That's the soft toe boot in soggy brown/roughout leather from local farms… tanned here as well. It's got the Sportsman Sole from Dr Sole.
Here's a few pairs just about finished up at the workshop. The workshop is in my good friends garage under his house on one the most beautiful beaches in the Winterless North of NZ. There's only about 20 houses on this stretch of coast and it's 12 hours away from my house... unfortunately!

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
I wanted to make the perfect winter work sock and this is what I came up with.
These heavy duty socks are made on vintage 1960's knitting machines using New Zealand wool spun in the lower North Island. We piece dye each sock once knitted to get the unique colours.
They are super tough and soften beautifully with wear… I don't think we could make a better hard wearing sock!
Details:
- 80% NZ Wool / 20% Nylon
- Shrink treated
- 1x1 rib top / 2x2 rib leg
- Extra nylon reinforcing in heel & toe

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
I've started on a new seriously heavy duty boot sock.
Details:
1960's farm style sock designed for rugged performance and durability
- 70% NZ Wool
- 30% Nylon
- Piece Dyed
- Made in New Zealand

RE: IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
@rohitsingh They stretched a little bit but both styles are tight on me… I prefer the 634.

I'll get the green batch sorted right away.
Seul, I think rust orange is a great idea… let me see what I can come up with.

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
khaki8, the socks shouldn't shrink… Giles is right the dying takes care of that.

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
Check out the link to see one of the vintage machines that knits THE SOCK. Nylon thread joins the ends of each sock so a continuous tube can be knitted. When they're finished the nylon thread is melted to separate each sock.

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
That's them!
We made this soft toe version as well.

RE: IH-LLSock - Last and Loom Wool Socks
We piece dye them when they've been knitted into the sock. This allows us to do unique colours in batches but takes a little more effort. We start with a beige thread so the colours aren't too bright and it gives a very subtle dirty look.
I'm doing a green version as we speak.
