IH-634S-RAW - 21/23 ounce raw straight cut

I'll tell you what the Boss and I recommend.  There are a million and one variants and everyone seems to have their own preferred method.

Soak in hot water.
Wash inside out on 30 degree wash (not essential but will help get most of the shrinkage out of the way)
Air dry inside out.

When nearly dry turn right side out.

Yu'll get about an inch in the waist and 1.5 in the leg.

They'll behave like IH-634SR's (same denim)

Thanks Giles, my concern (like always) is the shrinkage at the thigh..

Looking for something slimmer than my 634SB (only way is to downsize one), but roomier (thigh) than the Busters.. Haha I know I'm fussy!

work out the waist shrinkage ratio and then apply that to the thigh.

But the bottom line is that these are designed to shrink to the same tagsize as the 634S

No one can answer that but G since he is the only one that has worn both.

Well, both feel super heavy.

The 634S-RAW will fade with great contrast.  The 25 def feel heavier.

But the question will only be accurately answered in a few months.

My left hemisphere says buy 2 pairs but I don't trust it…
It would be better to buy a pair of either 666 or 634 25oz and one 634sRAW.

Hello IH crew, first post here. Coming from mostly Samurais, these will be my first touch with Iron Heart. Based on what I've read about this particular denim, I'm very stoked.

As the hype and impatience rise I've even considered buying the original Anniversaries since some still seem to be available via Rakuten. What appeals me in the Anniversaries is their roomier thigh, but what I've understood the 634 cut isn't actually skinny on that department either. Then again, why not both. Cheers.
