Samurai Jeans
-
here's the pic:
they will leave a faded arc on the back pocket in some weeks/months/years
-
that is an original & genuis detail.
great sh!t & thanks for the flick
-
Here's an example of how it looks ove time.
from the S710BK some years ago (to my knowledge the first model from Samurai with those hidden arcs)
-
the guy that makes underwear used to make jeans? wow that is incredible. i had no idea . . . .HAHAHaHAhA
couldn't help it
seriously i didn't know that calvin klein did hidden arcs, guess no idea is completely original
-
^ their (sams) hidden arcs goes back a few years, at least to 2006. (i think it was the 5000bk) and it was also used in the first BiG collabo.
-
Calvin Klein made jeans an acceptable everyday clothing item before then all the workers would get changed before they went home. no one walk around the street in jeans.
I know for some reason there is a dislike for major fashion brands here but like it or not they have one way or another influenced what we wear and how we dress.
Eg jersey knit [tee shirt fabric] was strictly underwear fabric so when Coco Chanel send it down the runway as a top [tee-shirt] it cause quite a stir and thank god she did that because I love my tees!!
-
did CK jeans eventually have sick reverse fades on the arcs?
Not an original idea as it was first done by Calvin Klein still a very very cool idea
They sure did. But they sew in cotton piping to form the arcs which was a little uncomfortable. I am talking about late 60s early 70s by the way. CK jeans has obviously since changes haha..:) but same with levis I guess before they bought back the LVC

What do you think about S0110XJII "Jin Model" ?
17oz crotch riveted, left hand twill, old Lee styled.
Im' peeping them on BiG by a lot of time.Dont know about the cut, but the Jin denim is amazing. I have a Jin denim jacket, and the way the denim evolves makes it some of the best denim that I have ever seen, completely unique.
-
But the denim on tghe S0110XJ II is different to the older Jins denim. It has less "horizontal falling", looks more blue-ish/grey…and less slubby
-
I have a pair of those too El, love them. They look great on you.
-
he definately has the build to pull off a slim fit on those
