Steven Wilson Grace for Drowning is awesome. Kinda right were Opeth Heritage left off.

Feelin' the Saviours lately too. I love the guitar sound in the solo (5:55 or so).

stop busting their balls B. music is all about feelings regardless of the genre, even a MoD & the Devil need to feel warm a fuzzy sometimes
J. Cole - Cole World: The Sideline Story
haven't listened but J.Cole is like that blue collar guy that makes good music when making music for himself or the three people in his town, when trying for mainstream stuff i can't stand the guy

Album received 4/5 stars in my local paper the other day. (Not saying much.) I liked some of his earlier material he released when he was still trying to get his name out there, but I'll agree with you, the mainstream releases have been weak.

You are too kind MM
Well, maybe I should share some local (scandewegian) music that you might not have heard about:
Big Bang:
Knut Reiersrud playing folk music:
(If you like Ry Cooder, you have to check out the "normal" music Knut Reiersrud plays)
Susanne Sundfør:
(For when you want to feel all sad and soppy inside..
)
The Shining
This one is swedish, but if you want deadlift music… This is it
Extol:
Progressive metal..
Insense:
Speed/prog-metal. I love it.
Just ignore me if this is too much spammage

absolutely love clutch. fantastic live band and great people to boot. ive been a fan since the pitchfork 7" came out in 1992. I've spent time on the road with them and I can honestly say they are the hardest working band with the best attitude I have ever known.
