Just got back from BKK.
Some stuff from chatuchak and a Kawatako belt pouch from Pronto.
Random tees from various shops, boxers, and a random red chambray shirt. How can I resist those vintage tees, when they are only 175 - 220 baht each?
Wrist band from ByMyself, and a keychain from a leather craft man.Spent the rest of my money on food, food and food. Awesome place to be in…

Oh Man! If only I could fork out for some UE Customs!
I've had a few 'universal' In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) over the years - Shure, UE & M-Audio. IEMs sit in your ear canal and should form a seal. This blocks out some external noise and forms an acoustic chamber. Universals have removable eartips of varying sizes to get the correct seal.
My last universals died in an unexpected rain shower (they've since come back to life :-). Whilst researching for a replacement, I discovered 1964ears.com who had some awesome reviews and a low price point for customs. I figured I would bite the bullet and get a pair. Customs are molded to the shape of your ear (including canal) and do not require tips.
Following a few emails, I sent them an impression of my ears made by a local audiologist. A month later they turned up. The sound was good; but the fit on one side wasn't quite right, which cause a loss of bass response. An email or two later to 1964 and I sent them back to be refitted, all part of a great service. I've now got them back, the fit is great and they sound fantastic!

OMG why am I only hearing about this now. This sound life changing!!
Anybody tell me more. How are they with noise canceling etc eg. On planes
For me they are, especially compared to iPod or Skull Candy earbuds! However, they're not too everyone's taste.
