just visited the new sufu and i dont like the look but now actually works for me!
How about today? ::) Fucking site has had more issues in the new version than I care to count. Can't even get on today. Get your shit together Sufu.

90% of SUFU is a giant frat boy circle jerk, there are some really decent guys in Superdenim, but the asshole element is becoming a greater influence there too.

Actually, superdenim is a circle jerk just as is supertrash. Completely different crowds. One is WAY TOO positive, and one is WAY TOO negative. As for the "asshole element", superfuture is way more tame than it used to be. I like to have options when hanging out online but I find myself here mostly.

i never knew there was a world on-line. i thought it was just for porn & buying last minute gifts for folks i didn't want to go to a brick & mortar store for
guess it's part of technological divide. i find myself getting my feelings into when folks make comments & such just cause i'm grounded in the real world. computer stuff is new to me. Iron Heart products & community just hit me really hard. what is the point of this . . . oh yeah, other forums might be okay, but they aren't home.
where else can you go & get praised for a good fit & at the same time called out for questionable aspects of your outfit. all the while most are cordial & open to others opinions (even if they don't agree with them). i can see why most spend their time on this forum. it's just a good place to be

I follow some standard threads on SuFu (IH, FH, Sam, SE, boot thread)… Do the same on MyNudies... Honestly: this is the only place for me... Even though I'm an eejit who doesn't always consider others before he posts and has to be put into place... I don't mind the people here doing it
StyleForum is the best place to buy though, in my opinion... I buy something of it once a month on average... Been doing so for over 3 years, and have never been ripped off... On the contrary: got some pieces I love to death for cheap through it...

Not enough trashing imo. Praise should be reserved for praise worthy fits/ posts and vice versa. -
that's one of the reasons i do reserve most of my comments for new joins & non frequent posters. i do really admire frequent fit posters, but it becomes a bit old (at least for me). i like when everyone has their own style it's just really cool to me.
oh & one of the best parts of forum life is being a small part of the design process as well as getting early dibs on dopeness.

You're right, though… But to be honest: I don't give a shit most of the time how I look... I just wear what's best for the workday and this season it all revolves around my boot-rotation... I always do brown or indigo shirt on brown boots/ shoes (Grensons, OSB brown Oxford); black, red black (20) or strawberry pink (17) on my Tricker's, and indigo dipped/ indigo (SH-43, SDA indigo sweater) on my Red Wings... That's all I take into consideration... Cause I never wear the same boots two days in a row... -

People here are pretty fast with praise and tbh, I don't recall much of critique on fits. This might feel good to the posters, but doesn't make it less "circle jerk" than Sufu.
I think, objective and friendly critique doesn't harm anybody that chooses to expose himself to the public round here and makes praise much more worthwhile then undeserved rep. (NOT saying, that I don't like the fits posted here, just a thought.) Being polite is great, but spreading rep just to keep a friendly atmosphere is wrong IMO. Just say it, like you would advice a good friend. Be honest, but say it so nobody gets hurt. This works in real life, you won't believe it. ???
This is why I post my fits on Sufu as well, as the feedback seems more objective to me there. And when fits get disliked there, it is not seldom deserved in my eyes (not everytime though). I igonre supertrash and know whose opinion matters to me and on whose I give a flying feck. Works too.

agree with you Max… personal I do not post here fit pics to get any kind of rep and I never saw that point actual, its not a contest, its just share something that you want to share, nothing more nothing less. Sure its nice to get reactions and that also for me include negative comments.... but I don't believe that this should be the reason to post something, unless you ask for a opinion.
I value every damn pic that is posted here no matter of I personal would wear that or not, since people have taken their time to add something to the forum.... And I also comment in that way, only because something isn't my style does not mean that I can't like the combination, pose or whatever caught my eye in the few seconds I look at something.
And now I go posting waywt pics, deal with it...
