IHJ-06 - Fleece Lined Cordura Winter Breaker
-
just a quick research through the thread and I found some posts for sizing info…no measumeremts though but I think these should help as well!...
Giles,
How are the sizing on these? I'm usually an XL in most of the IH tops, but the measurements of this jacket point me to an L. I'm 5'11, 195 lbs.Depends what you want to wear under it. I am normally a XL, but actually prefer the fit of the L, but can then only wear a T and a flannel under it comfortably….G
Oh - and for sizing - ur normal IH size is perfect, that isn't a jacket to be worn with nothing but a T
Just picked up one in a small (same size as my Iron Heart shirt size).
I'm 99% sure this is my perfect size (slight concern over arms being to slim). -
Whoever is looking for a Large in this jacket really should grab this. Price is too good!

so I wore the breaker out scooping snow for about two hours yesterday and when I took the jacket off I noticed that the fleece lining in the arms was damp and the creases of the elbows of the sweat I wore underneath were damp as well. I had to turn the breaker inside out to try to get it to dry.
the moisture was definitely not by penetration through the face of the sleeves, snow was not coming down, the outer jacket never got wet, I think there are two possibilities. It could have just been sweat, the jacket definitely kept me warm. But the rest of my sweatshirt was not wet, not the pits, not the chest, it wasn't like an aerobic workout, I dont think it was body sweat. Really just at the creases of the elbows and forearm areas.
I think more likely it seems the sleeve lining kind of wicked moisture in from the base of the cuff at the wrist. I was wearing gloves but the cuffs werent covered and did get damp from snow. And the distal part of the fleece sleeve liner was the moist part, in continuity from the wrist, not the upper arm around the pits etc.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts? It wasn't a big deal in fact I didn't notice it until I was done, but if I were going to be out in the snow all day and it were very cold it could be a problem.

@og:
What's the best way to clean this jacket? Spilled some soda and it's a little sticky atm
Or just take a damp towel and wipe it down. If that isn't enough add a little soap to the towel. After rubbing in the soap and breaking down the sugar, use a clean damp rag to wipe it all off.
