In ur experience what makes you say "ok these need a soak" Because i dont know how to judge if and when to do anything

Big question! There's no right or wrong in this game.
For me, it's when they have started showing decent fading and colour loss, like yours are. I also tend to find around this time that the surface has become kind of matted down with dirt and whatever else, almost shiny in places. The soak helps free up the fibres and as a result the fading is often faster afterwards.
But don't do anything because of what I say (or anyone else for that matter)…everyone has their own way! Keep enjoying the adventure, and if you feel like washing or soaking them some time, do it.

yeah soaking and washing is very personal. I have soaked my badboys in warm water about 30 degrees celsius for some minutes after about a month and gave them a machine wash after about 2 months of effective wearing as they were dirty. Now they draped very well to my body shape with a beautiful blue and small fading and I am not planning to soak/wash for some time. I'll try to post some pix in the evening.
as RocknRoll is right, there is not really a solution and soaking/washing does not harm the jeans imho.
In your case Sal and if you are happy I would not yet soak or wash until they get real smelly and dirrrrrty, to give them some more time to settle. I think I was a bit too early with mine, but again and as rocknroll is right, there is no right or wrong.

Thanks guys , I am going to hold off on soaking. I think the 1st time these touch water will be a wash & thats not happening for sometime. I have done some ass kicking things in these and the fades are imho making them look like they are worn longer than they really have been. Kinda like tissue paper stuffed in a bra.."NOT WHAT IT SEEMS"

as promised some flicks of my beloved VMC's, sorry all for the terrible photography (again in the famous elevator).
The jeans is very versatile and such a nice piece, it has softened up nicely after a short warm soak and a machine wash after some wear and rubbing around with the dog as well as falling into a building pit together with my bike. you can dress up or down with it.
Today I present you my American style dedicated to my US brothers and sisters

Best fit iv seen..Brilliant photos

Looking at ur fit Davito makes me think I should have maybe sized down 1. I like how urs fit as if they are tapered from the thigh down which i know they dont. I mean I generally always buy my jeans a tad bigger than i need for a bit more room but even if i grabbed them a size smaller they wouldnt look like urs. My body type wont allow for any jean to look slim like urs

Hi Sal most important in the 25oz jeans are the thighs, I wear most of my IH clothes pretty snug as I am very slim built from head to toe.
I like your fit very much and think from looking at your thighs they are kuul. Remember this guys do not stretch really at thigh just max 1 inch in waist from what i have read and experienced with mine. I could have gone in a waist 29 but thighs would have exploded and killed me. So due to my body shape I am pretty happy with the overall fit. Thanks man, enjoy your hardcore denim they look great. After a wash they will shape to your body, just let em settle more.

I needed to be reminded that ..I lose sight that when i wash em they will shape more to my body.
