Is 1/2 inch too much to expect?
-
I believe so…Where are u looking for shrinkage? Arms, overall length or width?

nah thats quite reasonable. check up earlier on. i remember there were some measurements posted about pre and post soak which should around 1/2 inch shrink or something.

@volcano:
^^ the 33 sure looks good on ya. especially those combs on the sleeves.
They appeared in a matter of a few hours & the shirt suctioned to my body in 2 days..This is a perfect everyday shirt

Just looking for some shrinkage in the chest.
-
I am curious to see how it fits on ya..Can u post one

post a fit pic? honestly, it might not be as bad as what you think.
-
I'm posting from bed right now. Maybe tomorrow. I'm not saying that I don't like the fit. It would just be more ideal if it was smaller in the chest.
-
^ one thing i've realised, IH tend to be roomier compared to other shirts that are fitting (maybe because of the shirt's background; working shirts). but still, their shirts makes me frown when i go shopping for shirts at the local malls. i am totally bought over with their quality.
on 1 occasion, i was wearing my IHSH-33 and i went into G-star. Compared with a denim shirt that was very close to the IHSH-33 price and damn i swear i would shoot myself at the head had i bought the G-star denim shirt instead of the 33. the quality difference is worlds apart. like comparing a true-blue working shirt to a wanna-be working shirt.
the above might piss others but i stand firm on my statement.
p.s/ i always tell my mates proudly that IH stuffs might sound pricey to them but the quality beats every single shit you can find out there.

Amen to that

LOL a belt sander
I guess u can say i cheat a bit…I dont have a strenuous job nor do i skateboard or do any of those natural bad ass things in mine. I have to simulate some of those things by getting creative. Like making sure every time I take a seat I sit & slide and being sure I rest my elbows. Its a bit stupid i guess but I don't have the patience or the raw denim stamina yet like some of u pro's
-
damn! those were worn for a week only?! i'd better start working on mine more i guess.
-
I also have been wearing a raw denim jacket over it everyday. It causes some raw on raw friction. That certainly has helped
