Hi all, my first post, been trawling on tbe forum for a while and bought this shirt as my first purchase, lovely shirt and great quality, had to return a medium as it was a bit too tight on the ribcage (perfect service by the way) so i substituted for a large, perfect in the body but i have a problem …..
what's the story with the arms? far too long, i been buying Japanese clothing for years but the arms on this fella seem off the scale. Looking at previous posts it seems a lot of people have to cuff their shirt (as above), true I'm not the tallest in the world, although not what would be deemed short (and am used to seeing 6'4'' models with 36'' chests on websites) but never seen such an overhang on my cuffs in an otherwise nicely fitting shirt....
shame because i been thinking this might be my default brand in future but not too sure on pulling the trigger in future if all the designs will be the same, its something I can deal with on the shirt, but on jackets it's a no-no...
any reflections / thoughts? nice to say hello to you all....
thanks
Ciaran
PS I have images to illustrate the sizing, how to upload? i'm a luddite, theres no browse to upload button, and thats as far as know . thanks

All of this gear is designed with motorcycle riding in mind, hence the long arm on shirts and jackets. If you're holding your arms straight out in front of you, as you would when on a bike, the arms will fit just so.
-
Iron Heart is designed to be worn rising a motor cycle, the arms are cut longer to accommodate a low riding position on a cycle.

Thanks for replies… ha makes perfect sense, and yeah when i stretch my arms out ...yup seems right...
...but hold on mmm seems like a bit of a gimmick, surely a proper motorcycle jacket would cover that gap... not a denim western shirt, or chambray work shirt etc.
.... just putting it out there...
thanks again for the previous speedy replies

sorry guys, all my ih-shirts (don't own a 33) fitting great, perfect arm length.
if i ever ride a motorcycle, they will be to short for me (accept the 55)….? -
My sleeve length is on the money. I have wide shoulders and long arms which may be the reason. I also cuff because i like the look. Occasionally i'll leave it uncuffed depending on my mood.
-
A motorcycle jacket would cover the gap when you want to wear a motorcycle jacket. However, what if you wanted to wear a flannel, or a denim western shirt, or a chambray work shirt, or an N1 deck coat, or a hoodie, or a windbreaker, or a denim type III, or any other permutation?
This is where Iron Heart comes in, no gimmick, they just give you specialist options. Hence "Iron Heart - Motorcycle Specialities".
