That is awesome man, my boy would say Kiss, The Black Keys, Noah And The Whale and Arcade Fire

Black Keys are a great band

Mike Patton is the man. Check out Mr. Bungle too, great band.
As for Phish, it's all about the live performance. When you go to a show, it's not what you think. It's laid back but there are not a ton of people in tie-dyes, patchwork clothes and stink like petrulie. Its for the most part, normal people who all love rock and roll. Check out 12/7/97, Ervin Nutter Arena, Dayton, OH. The show opens with their song AC/DC Bag into the Talking Heads Psycho Killer. The segue is seamless and is still talked about today. Shit is legend. The whole show was released by the band, so its fairly easy to find. And the whole show is awesome too, beginning to end.
Jeff can you send Rafa and Gavin that email I sent you outlining their different styles for each year? Thanks and let me know what you guys think.
PS I don't do mind expanding drugs at Phish, I'm high on the music, know it.

Oh man, I've been a Patton fan since I was a kid. I've seen FNM at least 10 times, and Mr Bungle once, absolutely love Patton. One of my greatest moments was being spat on by Mike Patton when I was 16, can't believe it was THAT long ago.

Great memory Mega.
FNM were supporting Guns N Roses at Manchester City's old stadium (Maine Road), I think it was 1992, Patton spat Pepsi over quite a few people who were close enough to the stage during "Epic", he didn't exclusively spit at me, ha ha.
At the same concert, Chris Cornell called me an "asshole" in front of almost 30'000 people, for putting an umbrella up on a sunny day…....I've hated Soundgarden ever since
I believe his exact words were "Someone tell that asshole to put the umbrella down, it ain't gonna rain today".....I put it down and hid for a while
Guns N Roses were shit as well.

Haha, I love Soundgarden. Saw them on Friday night in Hyde Park after being a fan for years. I was too young to see them back in the nineties so it was a real treat. Had a killer time in the mud and rain.

I already have the first press of Liber I but because postage was the same for both… Also: Debemur Morti is doing an absolutely brilliant job at releasing all the new BaN on vinyl... Always pure quality at a low price (although postage = expensive)... Support or die!..
Now let's hope for BaN ODINIST to be released on vinyl soon... Imo their best work... Absolutely NO emotions in it...
-
Thanks for posting up the pics of the artwork Eli. They shirt make the first press I have look like crap. I am really only a big fan of the first 2 albums, but I still think they make some good stuff worth a few listens these days too.

Okay, glad to hear that because I did not enjoy the trilogy much, so I will give Liber Pt II a listen. I like the faux leather look as well with an embossed cover.

Backed. HARD.
and I have a feeling there is a copy of Liber Pt II in my not to distant future, although I wouldn't be too angry if you wanted to share that rip of your
