Beware their (TAD that is) Aussie merino wool. I asked them and it's from sheep that have mulesing done to them. I'm no expert, or a bleeding heart liberal, but you're better off with New Zealand merino in general, much less chance of animal cruelty.
I dunno…I looked up flystrike as well...I'd rather have the procedure done to me, no matter how inhumane, than have blowflies eating my anus...
I'm not defending TAD or Aussie wool, just a thought...

Yep, I think it's one of those issues where human's will debate back and forth, but it basically sucks to be the sheep either way. TAD were pretty cool about it though, when I asked, and said they'd look into it.
Check out Icebreaker from New Zealand, their stuff looks cool.

there is a guy that sells them on ebay for a lot cheaper then they sell them on there web site
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hanna-Hats-Hand-Crafted-Irish-Donegal-Tweed-Cap-Hat-made-Ireland-/160852556784?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D1310254566144850681%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26

www.hannahats.com
45 euro
Vintage Cap 77B2
color is plain weave 412g brown
the only thing i dont like about my hanna is there is a piece of plastic in the top piece of the brim and its rather hard to shape. i took a heat gun to it and it lasted a while but i think i need to do it again
i think shandon makes the nicest hats from what ive owed theyre just a pain in the arse
4 times ive tried to order from them, 4 failures. mostly they dont communicate much at all

might give them one more try haha
anyone on here live near these guys and wanna be a proxy for me? -
Cordova Caps do a range of flat caps in various fabrics. They don't have a website, but there are details in a thread at the Fedora Lounge.
