i was referring to this type of toe, although in this pic its not as noticeable as i have seen some versions.
-
its like the 5th or so post in this thread.

I actually prefer this style toe box. I think the upturned, squared off toe on the regular Viberg service boot is a bit odd looking. But hey, that's just me.
-
I remember seeing those boots and thinking, "awesome!"….does anybody know what they are, because I'd really like to get a pair made?
-
Re: My spec. Don't know exactly, I just sent Brett the pic and said, make me a pair of these please. Here is an extract from his email confirmation:
Merlot, gun metal eyelets. Mid sole and leather
Outsole are the same.
With a washed out brown edge. Black or brown leather
Laces would look good. It's a classic look. Which is good. But still aggressive
The last is the 310 sprung toe last. It comes in D and E width
It's great last, very comfortable to wear.Kiya's look the same but the leather is Mocha…

I followed a couple of links after viewing your boots and ended up at this recent interview with Brett Viberg:

Might be of interest to folks.

When asked about the future of Viberg, Brett replied: "If it was just me, which it isn’t – I would continue to upgrade the quality and make Viberg into a higher luxury brand. I would make the shoes more expensive and add bags and clothing to create a very high end collection."
I cant knock his hustle, but I think they should stick to making boots. And making them more expensive is just foolish, as they are already on the upper end of what is reasonable for the product they make. There comes a point when making something more exclusive and more expensive will kill your business, not bolster it. (i got the quote in the link Sugar Mountain provided)

Brett wants to make Viberg boots MORE expensive ???
-
Yikes. Better get them while they're cheap. Nope, that's the wrong word; um, get them while they're not outrageous?
Seems a risky idea to go higher end and more niche. They built the company on selling solid workboots. I'd like to think there's still a viable market for them to continue doing the same, as well as expanding into more "fashion" offerings.
